FMA Handles Incredible Bulk for Stock Redler Kuwait

FMA, the Lichfield-based project management process control and solutions integration specialists, have been appointed by Stock Redler to supply the electrical equipment, control panels and automation to manage the bulk grain handling systems for Kuwait Flour Mills and Bakeries Co.. FMA has worked previously with Stock Redler, part of the Schenk Process Group and a global market leader in dry goods handling systems, on a number of highly successful projects.
It was the quality and technical content of FMA’s project proposal that showed a clear understanding of the sheer scale and logistical complexity of the project that persuaded Stock Redler to turn once again to the experience and know-how of FMA. There are an incredible 150 silos in the system for storing hundreds of thousands of tonnes of grain. While the system also needed to be capable of transferring a remarkable 1,000 tonnes of grain per hour from ships into storage to supply the bulk of the grain not just for Kuwait itself but also to a number of surrounding countries.
