Mechanical Design
Our Mechanical Design Team handles all the physical elements of process plant design and installation - from P&ID drawings and pipework isometrics to detailed fabrication drawings.
Our engineers are not just theoretical designers, they all operate in the real world. Each engineer is responsible for the initial site survey and post design checking to ensure all mechanical designs meet the project and environmental criteria.
Our engineers will have practical installation experience to complement their designs, ensuring codes of practice and design standards are followed, for example PD5500 pressure vessel design.
FMA's significant investment in 3D CAD enables our clients to visualise the installed design before the plant build commences. This enables a better understanding for all parties and enables a right first time approach.
